Description

In the game Praetor, you take on the role of a Roman engineer tasked with building a magnificent city in the southern part of Britain. You'll work together with other players to manage limited resources, recruit new workers, and build settlements to keep the population happy. As you progress, you'll need to balance your own goals with the demands of Caesar, who will reward you for contributing to the construction of Hadrian's Wall. As you place your workers on city tiles, you'll gain resources, morale, and favor points, all while trying to outdo your fellow players to become the ultimate Praetor. With a playtime of 75 minutes and rules of normal complexity, Praetor is an engaging game for 2 to 5 players that challenges you to think strategically and make the most of your workers' skills and experience.
