Description

In City Hall, 2 to 4 players compete to become the Mayor of New York City by balancing two main goals: bringing people into the city and campaigning for their approval. The game takes place over 90 minutes, with players navigating the complexities of city building and politics. With seven offices to manage, including the Tax Assessor and Zoning Board, players must use their influence to control these offices and make key decisions about the city's development. As players buy land, build properties, and tax their constituents, they must also campaign to increase their approval level and gain the support of special interest groups. The game ends with an election, where the player with the most votes becomes the Mayor and gets to appoint their opponents to the Sanitation Department. With its unique blend of auction and tile placement mechanics, City Hall offers a fun and challenging experience for fans of city building and political games.
