Description
In Manhattan, players compete to build the tallest skyscrapers across different districts of Manhattan Island. The goal is to have the most impressive buildings in the most city blocks, and it's a challenge that's easy to learn but fun to master. Each turn, players use a unique card to add a floor to a building, with the placement determined by their seat at the table. As the game unfolds over 45 minutes, players tally scores based on who controls each neighborhood and has the tallest buildings. With two to four players, the competition is fierce but fun, and the lack of necessary in-game text means everyone can join in. Designed by Andreas Seyfarth and first published in 1994, Manhattan is a classic city-building game that's still exciting today, with a simple yet engaging mechanic that keeps players coming back for more.
