Description
Canal Mania is a game that takes you back to the great canal-building era of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, where you get to build and manage your own canal network. As one of 2 to 5 players, you'll engage with brilliant engineers like James Brindley and Thomas Telford to create canals that link emerging manufacturing centers, providing the waterways that supplied the goods generated by the Industrial Revolution. Your goal is to earn more victory points than your opponents by building canals and moving goods through them. With a playtime of 90 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to strategize and make decisions to outdo your fellow players. The game's normal complexity makes it easy to learn for those familiar with board games, and the mix of contracts, hand management, and tile placement mechanics ensures a fun and challenging experience.
