Description
Nusfjord: Big Box is a game of economic strategy and development, set in a tranquil fishing village in northern Norway. As the owner of a major fishing company, you'll need to develop the harbor and surrounding landscape, enlarging your fleet, clearing the forest, and erecting new buildings to succeed. But you're not alone - other players are competing to do the same, making for a steep and challenging competition. With a worker placement mechanism, you'll need to carefully manage your three workers, placing them on the central board to trigger actions and make the most of your resources. In this game, designed by Uwe Rosenberg and published in 2024, you'll need to balance your finances, taking risks to get ahead, such as placing shares of your company on the market. But be careful - if an opponent acquires these shares, they could benefit from your hard-earned catches at sea. The village elders also have a stake in your success, and may demand a share of your catch if you're not careful. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, Nusfjord: Big Box is a game that will keep you engaged and challenged, whether you're playing solo or with up to four friends. The Big Box edition includes the base game, four expansions, and extra components, making it a comprehensive and immersive gaming experience.
