Description
In Masters of Venice, you're a young merchant navigating the vibrant commerce of 1400s Venice, trying to make a name for yourself in this legendary port. The goal is simple: buy low and sell high, but the journey is complex and thrilling. You'll trade in goods like spices, silks, and gems, and increase your profits by buying shares of shops that use these goods. As you fulfill orders for the Guild Hall craftsmen, you'll gain gold and prestige. With 2 to 5 players competing over 90 minutes, the game is full of strategic twists and turns. You'll need to spend your ducats wisely, leveraging help from powerful figures like the Guildmaster and the Harbormaster, while also keeping an eye on the mercurial politics and fickle demands of the city.
