Description

Dakota is a game that drops you into the wilds of the American West, where you'll take on the role of either a group of settlers or a tribe of natives. With 3 to 5 players, you'll navigate the challenges of the frontier, cooperating and competing with each other to snag the most valuable natural resources. The twist is that these resources aren't equally valuable to everyone - what's a goldmine for settlers might be worthless to natives, and vice versa. As you play, you'll use a combination of area majority and worker placement mechanics to get ahead. Don't worry if you're new to board games, though - the rules are straightforward, and fans of the genre will pick it up in no time.
