Description

In PAX, you'll be transported back to ancient times, playing the role of escaped slaves trying to gain influence and power in the Roman Empire. With 1 to 4 players, you'll compete to expand your sphere of influence across seven different categories, all while trying to undermine the Roman establishment. The game is easy to learn, but don't be fooled - it requires tricky tactical decisions to come out on top. As you navigate the game, you'll have to make strategic choices about how to use your cards to gain the upper hand. Will you try to go it alone, or will you form an alliance with Rome to take down your opponents? With a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, PAX is a quick and exciting game that's perfect for a fun night in with friends. Designed by Bernd Eisenstein and first published in 2011, PAX is a classic game of area majority and influence that's sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
