In the game of Palenque, you'll take on the role of a king vying for control of the Yucatan's resources, opposing the mighty Pacal, king of Palenque. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 6 players can join in on the fun, navigating the complexities of area majority and influence, all within a 60-minute playtime. As you expand your empire, you'll need to strategically manage your action points and hand of resource cards to outmaneuver your opponents. By building temples, altering borders, and dominating the 14 Yucatan kingdoms, you'll establish yourself as the greatest king of the Maya. The game is won by the player who has amassed the greatest amount of control over the Yucatan Peninsula, making every move count in this abstract strategy game of territory building.
