Description

In Swedish Parliament 2014, you're thrown into the world of politics as one of eight Swedish parties vying for influence after the 2014 elections. The goal is to become the central force in the next cabinet, and to do that, you need to gather votes and build strong relationships with other parties. It's not just about having the most votes, but also about having better connections with other parties than they have with each other. This delicate balance is what makes the game so engaging, as you navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries. As you play, you'll use idea cards to shift the parties' positions on various political scales, such as taxation and immigration. These moves can either strengthen or weaken relationships between parties, and also affect how different voter groups perceive you. With sixteen voters representing different demographics, you'll need to carefully consider each move to win their support and build your political weight. The game is an act of balance, where you need to stand out enough to attract voters, but also cooperate with other parties to achieve your goals.
