In The New Science, you'll take on the role of a great scientist during the 17th century Scientific Revolution in Europe. With limited time and energy, you'll need to strategically manage your actions to make groundbreaking discoveries, test hypotheses, and publish papers. You'll also have the opportunity to correspond with other famous scientists, hire assistants to aid in your research, and network with influential people to advance your progress. As you navigate the world of 17th century science, you'll follow historical tech trees in key sciences like Astronomy, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. Your goal is to accumulate the most prestige, which will ultimately earn you the prestigious title of the first President of the Royal Society. With a playtime of 90 minutes and a moderate level of complexity, The New Science is an engaging and challenging game for 2 to 5 players that's perfect for those familiar with board games.
