Description
In Tsukuyumi: Sentinels, 3 to 5 players take on the roles of mystic warriors tasked with saving the earth from the Oni, otherworldly creatures that have threatened the planet throughout history. These ancient warriors, known as the Sentinels, hail from the Jade Kingdom, a realm where surviving creatures found shelter after being hunted by humans. With their jade armor and magic, they can hide in plain sight, moving undetected between the mortal world and their own realm. Some Sentinels have adapted to modern times, incorporating technology into their battles, while others remain traditional in their methods. As the first game-changer faction for Tsukuyumi, the Sentinels bring a new level of excitement to the game, with a special winning condition that allows them to emerge victorious if all Oni are eliminated from the board, regardless of who killed them. With their unique abilities, such as portal markers that enable them to move units quickly across the board, and camouflage abilities that allow them to deceive their enemies, the Sentinels offer a fresh and challenging playstyle. With a playtime of 90 to 150 minutes, Tsukuyumi: Sentinels is an immersive experience that requires strategy and skill, making it a great addition to the Tsukuyumi series, which was introduced in 2018 by game designer Felix Mertikat.
