Description
In the ancient world of 430 B.C, the cities of Greece are vying for the favor of the Gods and Goddesses of Olympus. To gain their favor, players must offer the most attractive and sumptuous ritual sacrifices, and it's every city for themselves. The game Offerings, designed by Cédric Lefebvre, is a thrilling auction and bidding experience for 3 to 5 players that lasts around 60 minutes. Players must outbid each other to recruit the necessary materials and offerings for their ritual, and even steal from their opponents in the corruption phase. The goal is to honor the Olympus Gods with the most impressive sacrifice, earning devotion points and ultimately gaining their favor. With limited altars available in the temple, players must outwit their opponents to offer the most sumptuous ritual sacrifice before it's too late, making Offerings a game of strategic bidding and cunning maneuvering.
