Description
In Shadow of the Elder Gods, 1 to 4 players work together to save the city of Arkham from cosmic horrors that threaten to unravel reality. The game is easy to learn, and a typical playthrough takes about 20 minutes. Players take on the roles of citizens of Arkham, traveling the streets to research knowledge, hire muscle, collect assets, and deal with threats. Each game features a unique danger to Arkham, represented by the Threat Deck, which players must survive to win. As players navigate the game, they must work together to contend with the Elder Threat, using their resources to deal with the consequences of dark forces conspiring against them. The player with the Ring of Shadows has a unique advantage, able to view the Shadow side of the Threat Deck and deal with the threat at hand, but at great risk to themselves and others. Will you be able to save Arkham from the brink of destruction and uncover the secrets of the Elder Gods?
