Description
In the mystical world of Inori, village chiefs are on a quest to become the Great Tree Guardian, a prestigious title that comes with great honor. To achieve this, they must make offerings to the spirits that reside in the giant sacred tree, strategically placing their markers on spirit cards or altars throughout the four seasons of the game. With each placement, they unlock special abilities, earn points, or gain favor tokens that will ultimately decide their fate. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and with a playtime of just 30 minutes, you can dive into the world of Inori with 2 to 4 friends and family members. As the seasons change, new opportunities arise, and the competition heats up. Spirit cards with all spaces occupied are replaced, giving players a fresh chance to activate new abilities and earn more points. The goal is to accumulate the most points by having the most favors of each color, which are earned through strategic placement of offerings. In the end, the player with the most points is crowned the Guardian of the Great Tree, a title that comes with great pride. Designed by Mathieu Aubert and Théo Rivière, Inori is a fantasy-themed game that combines worker placement mechanics with a unique and captivating storyline, making it a must-play for fans of the genre.
