Description

In Tyros, you'll navigate the ancient Mediterranean, building empires and controlling territories with your ships and cities. The game is easy to learn, but with 90 minutes of playtime, you'll have plenty of time to develop your strategy. With 3 to 4 players, you'll need to balance expansion with resource management, using cards to build galleys, travel, and found cities. As you play, your empire will grow, and you'll score points for controlling tiles, with bonuses for larger empires. With a unique grid movement system and variable setup, each game will be different. Designed by Martin Wallace and first published in 2002, Tyros offers a engaging blend of area majority, hand management, and trading, making it a great choice for fans of civilization and nautical themed games.
