Description
In Iberian Railways, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure to build railways across the Iberian peninsula, connecting towns and cities in Spain and Portugal. With a willingness to take on debt, you'll construct a network of railways, increasing your income as you connect urban hexes. The game is designed for 3 to 5 players and takes about 60 minutes to play, making it a great option for a fun evening with friends. As you navigate the hex-based map, you'll have the opportunity to start new railways, expand existing ones, merge them, or purchase business interests. With each action, you'll gain income and work towards building the most efficient network. The game ends when all cubes have been placed, and points are awarded for various categories of growth, including cash on hand, income, and network expansion. The player with the most points wins, making Iberian Railways a game of strategic planning and financial management.
