In the 20th Century board game, you'll take on the challenge of building a thriving country that balances economic growth with environmental sustainability. As one of 3 to 5 players, you'll oversee the urbanization of your nation over six rounds, making strategic decisions about which lands to develop and how to manage resources. With a playtime of 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to dive into the game's mechanics, which include auctioning, tile placement, and point-to-point movement. Your goal is to create a country with a high standard of living, where the environment is healthy and the economy is strong. You'll accumulate points each round based on your nation's quality of life, with bonus points awarded at the end of rounds two, four, and six. With its normal complexity level, 20th Century is accessible to fans of board games, and its lack of necessary in-game text makes it a great option for players of all languages.
