Description

In Morocco, players take on the roles of families of artisans vying for the best stalls in the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa market square in Marrakech, Morocco. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 5 players can join in on the fun, competing to claim the most desirable spaces and attract customers to their wares. The game is a thrilling 45-minute experience, perfect for a quick yet engaging play session. As players send their workers out to claim stalls, they must strategically use their knowledge of the market to outmaneuver their opponents. With a unique blend of area majority and tile placement mechanics, Morocco challenges players to balance their resources and make the most of their opportunities. Published in 2016 by designers Ben Pinchback and Matt Riddle, this base game is a great introduction to the world of territory building and Arabian-themed games.
