Description

In Goodwill, you're an investor on a mission to maximize your capital by buying and selling shares of three companies, using the inside information you've got your hands on. Each turn, you'll get a sneak peek at two end-of-turn events that can shake things up - think price changes, resource shifts, production chain overhauls, or advertising campaigns that give one firm a serious market boost. With this intel, you'll estimate a price for each firm, and here's where things get interesting: players who lowball will have to send a share to those who went high, adding a delicious layer of bluffing and negotiation to the game. As you navigate the twists and turns of the market, you'll need to stay on your toes and make strategic decisions about when to buy, sell, and trade. With two to six players in the mix, Goodwill is a game that's all about outsmarting your opponents and coming out on top. Designed by Julien Dauxert and first published in 2017, this game has a nice balance of complexity and accessibility, making it easy for board game fans to dive right in. With playtime ranging from 45 to 90 minutes, you can expect a thrilling ride that's packed with economic intrigue, simultaneous action selection, and commodity speculation - all the ingredients for a truly addictive gaming experience.
