Description

In Municipium, you're part of a powerful family vying for influence in a Roman provincial town during the 2nd Century AD. With 2 to 4 players, you'll strategically place family members in institutions like the scholars, merchants, soldiers, and priests to gain the support of citizens. The goal is to have the most influence in these institutions, especially when the praefect visits, to earn his favor. As you navigate the game, you'll need to decide how and when to use the unique powers of each institution. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 60 minutes, Municipium is an engaging game of area majority and influence.
