Perikles is a game of strategy and politics set in ancient Greece, where 3 to 5 players take on the roles of noble families vying for control of six city-states. The game is divided into two phases, with the first phase focusing on area control and elections, where players compete to become the leader of each city-state. This is a crucial step, as winning the election in each state allows players to control that state's army. In the second phase, players use cards to move their armies and engage in battles, with the goal of emerging victorious and earning glory.
