Description

In Cats & Dragons, players take on the role of sneaky felines leading their own armies against a common enemy: fierce dragons that are invading their land. But don't let that fool you - these cats are just as concerned with outdoing each other as they are with defeating the dragons. Each player is on a mission to claim the most glory and spoils, and they'll stop at nothing to get it. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, new players can jump right into the action, and the short playtime of 30 to 60 minutes means you can fit in a game even on a busy day. As players take their turns, they'll add new tiles to the ever-changing landscape, deploying their army units with their strength hidden from their opponents. This secrecy adds a layer of strategy to the game, as you'll need to balance your desire to defeat the dragons with the need to outmaneuver your fellow feline friends. And just to mix things up, you can even hire big wild cats to join your cause, giving you an extra edge in battle. When a region is closed off, all the hidden army units are revealed, and players get to see who's come out on top. The strongest armies will earn the most spoils and glory, but everyone who contributed to the victory will get a share. The game may have simple rules, but the board is incredibly dynamic, with players constantly adapting to new developments and trying to stay one step ahead of their rivals. Will you try to sneak into an ongoing battle to grab some last-minute spoils, or focus on dominating a battle you know you can win? The choice is yours, but be warned: the dragons won't go down without a fight, and your fellow players are just as eager to claim victory as you are. With its unique blend of secret unit deployment, tile placement, and medieval fantasy humor, Cats & Dragons is a wild and entertaining ride that's purr-fect for 2 to 4 players.
