Kingdom Builder: The Island is a fantastic expansion to the original Kingdom Builder game, designed by the talented Donald X. Vaccarino and Michael Schacht. Released in 2014, this expansion is easy to learn and can be enjoyed by 2 to 5 players in just 45 minutes. The game is all about building and expanding your kingdom, and with the island expansion, you get to explore new territories and strategically place your settlements. The double-sided map tile features an island on both sides, with unique features like a Rope Bridge and a Tree House, which allow you to move your settlements to new locations like Canyon or Forest. The island expansion adds a fresh layer of excitement to the base game, with new opportunities to build and expand your kingdom. With the modular board and grid movement mechanics, you'll need to think strategically about where to place your settlements and how to connect them to your existing kingdom.
