Description

Get ready to set sail on a journey through the Middle Ages with Aelderman, a competitive board game designed by Johannes Rogoll. Released in 2023, this game is perfect for 1 to 4 players looking for a challenging and immersive experience that will keep them engaged for 100 to 180 minutes. As a young merchant in the medieval Hanseatic League, you'll have the opportunity to gain power and influence by trading with other cities, commissioning buildings, and securing important privileges. With a unique blend of action points, area movement, and auction mechanics, Aelderman requires strategic thinking and careful planning to come out on top. As you navigate the game, you'll need to use your limited action points wisely to trade goods, gain wealth, and increase your influence in the region. But it's not just about accumulating wealth - you'll also need to secure council votes, build your reputation in the city of Luebeck, and acquire luxury goods to become the most influential merchant of all. With its complex rules and multiple mechanics, Aelderman is a game that will take some time to learn, but the payoff is well worth the effort. Whether you're playing solo or with friends, Aelderman offers a thrilling and immersive experience that will transport you to a world of medieval trade and commerce.
