Description
In Mangrovia, a Caribbean mangrove themed game, players compete to build huts in the best locations, with the goal of becoming the rightful successor of the old chief. The game is easy to learn, but offers a lot of depth and replayability, making it a great choice for 2 to 5 players. With a playtime of 75 minutes, players must carefully choose and time their actions to gain the most Chief points by building huts along divine paths, controlling sacred locations, and collecting amulets. The game's unique mechanism allows players to choose two different bonuses and actions, as well as the turn order, by placing just one marker. As the game progresses, it becomes increasingly tight, with fewer choices of spaces and more crucial actions. Players must strategically position their huts to collect amulets, which can be used to build huts on designated spaces, and ultimately gain the majority along the divine paths to win the game.
