Description
In Plutocracy, 2 to 4 players take on the role of powerful trading corporations, traveling through a hexagon grid of planets to buy and sell resources. The goal is to earn Space Euros, the currency of power, by selling at a higher price than buying. These Space Euros are crucial for buying seats in planetary parliaments, where players can gain a majority and send Councilors to the Plutocratic Council. As players navigate the game's market and trading mechanics, they must also keep an eye on the Societies on Earth, where meeting certain conditions can also earn them a spot in the Plutocratic Council. With three elections throughout the game, players must strategically manage their resources and influence to come out on top. The player with the most Councilors in the Plutocratic Council at the end of the game emerges victorious, making Plutocracy a thrilling game of economic and political strategy.
