Description
Santa Cruz is a fun and interactive game where 2 to 4 players get to build and explore an island over two independent rounds. With easy-to-learn rules, players start with a hand of cards and take turns playing traveling cards to explore the island, placing buildings and developing resources, or scoring cards to earn points for specific buildings or conditions. The goal is to colonize the island, building homes, churches, and lighthouses, while navigating the risks of a volcanic eruption that can clear away your progress. As you play, you'll need to manage your hand of cards carefully, making strategic decisions about when to explore and when to score. With no necessary in-game text, players of all languages can join in on the fun. The game is relatively quick, lasting around 45 minutes, making it a great option for a casual game night with friends.
