In Shapers of Gaia, you'll embark on a mission to restore a devastated planet to its former glory. As a Shaper, you've emerged from a vault after millennia, carrying the key to rebirth. Alongside a caretaker robot, you'll work to revive ruined biomes, repopulate extinct species, and bring life back to a rejuvenated ecosystem. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to explore the planet and earn prestige, but be warned: you're not alone in this mission. Two to three players can join in, each with their own unique abilities and strengths, making for a competitive and engaging experience. As you delve into the game, you'll discover that there are six different Shapers to choose from, each with their own distinct powers. You'll need to use these abilities strategically to outmaneuver your opponents and accumulate rare resources like nutrients and energy. The game takes place on a hexagon grid, where you'll add map tiles and place them carefully to create new biomes and gain access to valuable resources. But beware: new biomes can also provide resources to your rival factions, so you'll need to stay one step ahead. By collecting DNA samples, arranging animals according to their behaviors, and unlocking new Shaper abilities, you'll gain prestige and bring yourself closer to your ultimate goal.
