ToS & Privacy Policy

Hi, we are replacing a vendor and updating our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service accordingly. Here is a summary of what changed!

Kallax.io is not operated by a company, it is a shared hobby project between two nerdy friends who happens to like board games and be programmers. Other passions of ours includes privacy and not getting into legal trouble.

The primary reason is that we are swapping out BetterStack for New Relic

Privacy Policy Changes

Removed BetterStack as a vendor.
Previously used for log monitoring. It allowed us to keep track of what was happening on our servers and get helpful information for fixing bugs.

Added New Relic as a vendor.
Used for log monitoring. When you send a request to our servers we may forward some information to New Relic. Data is stored within the European Union, but managed by New Relic, Inc. which is registered in California.

Added Data Controller identity
For good measure we have added full contact details.

Terms of Services Changes

Added content removal rights
Standard clause about us being allowed to delete things. Not that we are planning on removing positive mentions of Monopoly, but we are allowed to now.
