Description

In Copper Country, you take on the role of a mining company competing to produce the most copper in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The game is designed for 2 to 4 players and typically lasts around 60 minutes. As you hire miners to work mine sites, you'll manage resources and take risks to maximize production. Each shift, you'll reveal a card from the production deck and choose an outcome, using capital card resources from your hand or placing your miner at risk. As the industry grows, so do the communities surrounding your mines. You'll build company houses to increase miner loyalty and safety, and expand your empire with shaft houses and hoist houses to boost copper production. But beware, as players produce copper, poor rock is removed from the industry track, reducing shifts nearby for all players. The game ends when the last poor rock is dumped, and the player who has produced the most copper wins.
