Description
Magnanimous is a game of strategic influence and power, set in 19th century Brazil during the reign of Emperor Pedro II. Players take on the roles of Barons, vying for control over the economy, politics, and military forces in the Brazil provinces. With the War of Paraguay looming, each Baron must navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries to emerge victorious. As a game of area majority and influence, Magnanimous requires players to manage their resources, trade, and negotiate with others to achieve their goals. The unique voting system adds an extra layer of strategy, allowing players to conspire against the empire or curry favor with the Magnanimous himself. With multiple paths to victory and a playtime of 90 to 120 minutes, Magnanimous offers a challenging and immersive experience for 2 to 4 players.
