Description

In Palmyra, you're on a mission to expand the Roman Empire's influence by annexing new lands and collecting taxes. As one of Caesar's trusted allies, you'll send out your army and censors to get the job done, all while navigating the challenges of tile placement and hand management. With easy-to-learn rules, this game is all about making tactical choices to outmaneuver your opponents and earn the most coins for the empire. As you place new land tiles and move your pieces, you'll need to balance your desire for wealth with the risk of cutting off future opportunities. With support from Caesar and a dash of strategic thinking, you can become the new governor of Palmyra. The game is over when all 120 coins have been collected, and the player with the most coins wins. With playtime lasting around 45 minutes, Palmyra is a fun and engaging experience for 1 to 5 players.
