Description

In Steam Power, the goal is simple: build the best rail network and fulfill your contractual obligations to rake in the cash. With easy-to-learn rules, 1 to 5 players can jump into the action, competing to create the most efficient and lucrative transportation empire. On each turn, you'll have two actions to choose from, allowing you to lay tracks, build factories, fulfill contracts, earn money, or collect more contracts to add to your workload. Building a factory is a key strategic move, as it brings valuable resources to the board that all players can access - for a price, of course. As the game unfolds over 45 to 90 minutes, you'll need to balance your efforts to maximize your points and profits. The game ends when a certain number of contracts are fulfilled, a threshold that varies depending on the number of players. With its engaging blend of economic strategy, territory building, and train transportation, Steam Power is a thrilling challenge that will keep you coming back for more.
