Description

In Pax Renaissance, you'll take on the role of a Renaissance banker, navigating the intricate world of 16th-century Europe. With two actions per turn, you'll finance kings and republics, sponsor voyages of discovery, and make strategic decisions that will shape the course of Western Society. The game is set in a time of great upheaval, where the choices you make will determine whether Europe emerges into a bright modern era or remains mired in dark feudalism. As you acquire and play cards, you'll stimulate the economy, discover new trade routes, and alter the importance and wealth of empires. With four possible victories, the game's outcome is far from certain - will you guide Western Society towards imperialism, trade globalization, religious totalitarianism, or enlightened art and science? With its complex gameplay and rich historical context, Pax Renaissance offers a challenging and engaging experience for 2 to 4 players.
