Description

In Boxes, you'll experience a thrilling auction game where strategy and bluffing come together. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, 2 to 8 players can dive into the fun in no time. The goal is to collect valuable box cards by bidding on containers, and the player who bids the highest gets to take the entire container. The auctioneer's token rotates among players, giving each a chance to inspect the cards and choose the type of auction. As the game unfolds over 30 minutes, players must use their actions wisely to inspect box cards and make informed bids. The game ends when all containers have been sold, and players count their wealth to determine the winner. With bonuses awarded for collecting sets, the player with the most wealth at the end takes the win. Published in 2014 and designed by Benoît Remy, Boxes is a party game that's perfect for groups of friends looking for a fun and interactive experience.
