In Metras, you'll take on the role of a Noble Family head, vying for the Emperor's favor in a game of strategy and intrigue. With 2 to 4 players, you'll navigate the Imperial Court, using auctions and clever placement to gain Influence Points. The rules are easy to learn, but the game itself is full of depth, with multiple mechanics like bidding, bluffing, and worker placement coming into play. As you play, you'll build up your family's strengths in areas like Fame, Exploration, Wealth, and Espionage, recruiting allies to help you complete actions and earn more Influence Points. With a playtime of just 35 to 60 minutes, Metras is a compact but engaging experience that's perfect for a fun evening with friends.
