Description

In Trinidad, you'll take on the role of a Spanish family head in 1580s Buenos Aires, navigating the challenges of building a thriving city amidst tension with Native groups and threats from English Corsairs. Over the course of 120 years, you'll develop the city as you see fit, promoting commerce, constructing iconic buildings, or building an army. With a range of options at your disposal, you can choose to collaborate with the Church, exploit resources, or join forces with Native groups to combat common enemies. As a strategy game, Trinidad combines worker placement, action card combinations, and character management to create a complex and engaging experience. With its rich historical setting and multiple mechanics, Trinidad offers a unique and immersive gameplay experience for 1 to 5 players. Be prepared to invest some time in learning the rules, but with 90 to 150 minutes of playtime, you'll have plenty of opportunity to explore the game's depth and complexity.
