Description
Container is a game of big ships and big production where you play both as a producer and shipper of goods. You decide which products to produce and which of your opponents' goods to ship to a remote island, setting prices to maximize your cash. As the goods arrive on the island, you bid for them, trying to get the best deals to convert into points at the end of the game. The challenge lies in balancing your home production with the needs of your island, all while navigating the subsidy system that can either help or hinder your progress. With 3 to 5 players competing over 60 to 90 minutes, Container offers a fun and engaging economic experience with a unique blend of auction, commodity speculation, and pick-up and deliver mechanics. Designed by Franz-Benno Delonge and Thomas Ewert, this 2007 game is easy to learn for board game enthusiasts, making it a great addition to any game night.
