Description
In High-Bid, 2 to 4 players take on the role of collectors, competing to gather sets of valuable properties and artifacts. These sets are worth a lot at the end of the game, but individual pieces are worthless unless sold during the game to provide a cash flow. The game is easy to learn and plays out over 25 minutes, making it a quick and exciting experience. Players bid on properties, trying to complete sets while managing their cash flow. They can sell properties to the bank, but the price is determined randomly, adding an element of risk. With the option to use special buyer cards to purchase properties or complete sets, players must weigh their options carefully. The game ends when the property deck runs out or a player with over $5,000 in assets calls the game, making High-Bid a thrilling negotiation game that's been entertaining players since its publication in 1963.
