In Canalis, you're tasked with building a thriving new district, carefully laying canals and placing buildings to maximize your gain. With 2 to 4 players competing, you'll need to think strategically to outmaneuver your opponents. The game is easy to learn, even for those familiar with board games, and a typical playtime of 45 minutes makes it a great fit for a weeknight game night. As you build your district, you'll use a combination of card drafting and tile placement to connect your buildings to resources and the harbor, all while trying to sabotage your opponents' plans. With variable player powers and secret missions, the outcome is never certain until the very end, keeping the game exciting and unpredictable.
