With 2 to 4 players competing to build the most profitable mining operation, you'll need to stay one step ahead of the competition by influencing the market and making savvy decisions about where to send your most trusted foremen. The game is all about adapting to the ever-shifting landscape of the mining industry, where the price of coal, permits, utilities, and construction can change from turn to turn, round to round, and even game to game. As you build and expand your mining operation, you'll need to balance the need for profit with the need for safety, lest a visit from the mine inspector at the end of the year cuts into your hard-earned profits.
