Description

In An Infamous Traffic, you're one of 2 to 5 players navigating the complex and ruthless world of 19th century trade in Qing China. The East India Company's monopoly has been revoked, and it's every player for themselves as you try to capitalize on the lucrative opium trade. You'll need to rely on smugglers to get your products into the interior, all while trying to influence Parliament to sway the trade in your favor. As you build your trade network and accumulate wealth, you'll also need to manage the risks of British aggression and the potential for the region to become a failed state. But it's not just about making money - it's about gaining prestige and respectability in high society. You'll need to use your wealth to acquire symbols of nobility, restore castles, and secure influential marriages and government posts. With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, An Infamous Traffic is a challenging and engaging game that requires strategic thinking and a willingness to take risks.
