Description

DRCongo is a game where players take on the role of industrialists working to develop the economy of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. By building industries and expanding a transport network of rivers, rails, and roads, players aim to produce and sell valuable resources like oil, minerals, and crops. The game is set on a map of the country, featuring its eleven provinces and major transport routes, and players can develop their own cities and sell hydroelectricity to them. As players navigate the game's four layers, they'll encounter challenges like insurgents and peacekeepers, government interventions, and strategic actions from other countries. With a unique blend of auction, bidding, and dice rolling mechanics, DRCongo offers a complex and engaging experience for 1 to 4 players. With playtime ranging from 120 to 180 minutes, players will need to balance economic growth with the uncertainties of conflict and politics, making for a thrilling and immersive game experience.
