Description

In Ride the Rail, you and your partner are a fledgling railway duo racing against the notorious Rail Baron to build a railroad line to the towns of Eastport and Westgate. The clock is ticking, and you must work together to navigate treacherous terrain, manage scarce resources, and build trading posts to trade goods and hire workers. The Rail Baron will stop at nothing to sabotage your plans, using his cronies and vast resources to try and derail your progress. With easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right into the action and start building your railroad empire. As a cooperative game, you'll work together to connect the central hex to Eastport and Westgate by placing hexes, drawing tiles, and managing resources. The game is divided into phases, with the Rail Baron Phase introducing obstacles and challenges to overcome. During the Player Phase, you can place new rail hexes, build bridges and tunnels, move trains, and explore new territories. The Resource Phase rewards you with tokens based on your workers' placement. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, Ride the Rail is a thrilling and challenging game that's perfect for two players looking for a fun and interactive experience.
