Description
In Sumeria, 3 to 4 players take on the challenge of bringing ancient city-states to the forefront of power. With easy-to-learn rules, players can quickly dive into the game, navigating the intricate dance of boosting and diminishing city-state influence. Each turn, players strategically place their traders to increase a city-state's power, but beware - as one city-state gains favor, another will lose it, making timing crucial. As players vie for control of the most prominent city-states, they'll need to balance their movements to maximize their influence during scoring rounds. With no necessary in-game text, Sumeria is accessible to players of all languages, and its abstract strategy and ancient themes make for a unique and engaging experience. Designed by Dirk Liekens and published in 2009, Sumeria offers a fun and challenging gameplay experience that can be enjoyed in 30 to 60 minutes.
