Get ready to expand your train empire with the Chicago Express: Nickel Plate Road Expansion, a thrilling addition to the base game Chicago Express. Designed by John Bohrer, this expansion brings a new level of excitement to the game, introducing the famous New York, Chicago & Saint Louis Railroad, also known as the Nickel Plate Road. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 6 players can dive into the world of train networking and route building, competing to build the most efficient railroad system. The game takes about 60 minutes to play, making it a great option for a fun evening with friends. In this expansion, players will bid on the single share of the Nickel Plate Road, with the highest bidder becoming the owner and getting to place the first locomotive in Chicago. From there, they'll strategically place the remaining locomotives on the map, aiming to maximize their railroad income. With 12 new locomotives and a counter piece added to the game, players will need to adapt their strategies to make the most of the new opportunities.
