Description
Intrigue is a game of ruthless negotiation and cunning strategy, where 3 to 5 players take on the roles of Renaissance era families vying for power and influence. With easy-to-learn rules, this 45-minute game is all about securing positions in other families' businesses, and players will stop at nothing to get ahead - including offering bribes to get what they want. However, be warned: once a bribe is accepted, all bets are off, and there's no guarantee that any deals will be honored. Designed by Stefan Dorra and first published in 1994, Intrigue is a game of area majority and influence, where players must navigate a complex web of alliances and rivalries to come out on top. With its unique blend of auction, bidding, and negotiation mechanics, this game is not for the faint of heart - it's a vicious and thrilling ride that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.
